Hi, I'm Graeme. I’m an educator, researcher, and keynote speaker who cares deeply about helping young people and the adults who support them navigate an increasingly noisy and complex world with clarity, agency, and hope.
 

In 2013, I co-founded the Institute for Global Solutions (IGS), a public school program designed to help teenagers engage meaningfully with real-world challenges. What began as a small experiment with 23 students has grown into a vibrant program serving nearly 200 learners each year. IGS continues to be a classroom and living laboratory, where ideas are tested, refined, and grounded in the realities of students’ lives.
 

At the heart of my work is a simple question: How do we help students see the world clearly enough to act wisely within it?

I teach high school students in the IGS program and also work with undergraduate and master’s students at the university level. Alongside this, I collaborate with teachers, principals, superintendents, and education associations across North America, helping schools respond to rising anxiety, disengagement, and complexity without adding more initiatives.
 

My work shows up in keynotes, workshops, and coaching sessions that are practical, evidence-based, and grounded in real classrooms. I focus on helping administrators and educators build shared language, strengthen student agency, and replace fear-based narratives with clarity and perspective. I believe deeply in the power of good data, good stories, and honest conversations to shift how students and leaders see what’s possible.
