Unlock Your Potential with Harnessing Hope

Hello! I'm an educator, keynote speaker and researcher with a passion for creating practical solutions for a resilient and equitable future. In 2013, I co-founded the Institute for Global Solutions (IGS), a groundbreaking public school program designed to empower teenagers to make a meaningful impact on the world. What began as a modest experiment with just 23 students has flourished into a vibrant program with nearly 200 learners each year.

My mission is to transform educational narratives and inspire positive change. I teach high school students in the IGS program and also instruct undergraduate and master's students at the University of Victoria and Royal Roads University. Beyond the classroom, I consult with educators worldwide, enhancing student achievement and spreading hope.

I offer a variety of services, including event keynotes, workshops, and coaching sessions, all aimed at promoting a fact-based worldview and implementing evidence-based practices to boost student success. As a keynote speaker, I strive to captivate audiences with my enthusiasm, expertise, and compelling storytelling.

I call the beautiful city of Victoria, British Columbia, home, where I live with my wonderful wife Elisa and our three kids. If you're interested in collaborating, please don't hesitate to reach out using the form below.
